DXCC CW 200 countries confirmed

This week I got 200 DXCC countries confirmed in CW. Actually, even 201. YJ0HA confirmed 200th via LoTW, and ZL7J confirmed 201st with his paper card. I am not sure whether YJ0HA operation is already approved by DXCC Desk, so ZL7J became a welcome addition.

Since CW is my favorite mode, this is pretty important milestone to me. I heard people saying this number can be worked during single popular 48-hour contest. Probably, but not with my setup. It took me more than 4 years to achieve this result. Now I am looking forward to work and confirm 250 countries, probably in MIXED mode first.

The bad news is, after giving it some thoughts, I’ve decided to not apply for any awards this year in order to save some money. I could receive DXCC CW-200 endosement, and IOTA-200 award, but no rush. Both can wait until next year.
