My first steps in the air are made in early 1980s on youth club station UK1WAG.<\/p>\n

This QSL card was used by central club station of Pskov Region UK1WAA in early 1980s.<\/p>\n

U1PSK<\/h3>\n

In 1980 UK1WAA used special sign U1PSK during celebration of 110th anniversary of Vladimir Lenin, the founder and first ruler of Soviet Russia.<\/p>\n

In mid 1980s call sign designations for club stations were significantly changed, so UK1WAA became UZ1WWA.<\/p>\n

Anatoly, UA1WCR (now RA1WR), refused to give me his blank QSL card, saying “You want my card? Make the QSO first!” So I had to catch him in the air and make one from UK1WAG.<\/p>\n
