All states on 160M!

I’ve finally got all US states worked on 160M! Actually I worked Hawaii, the last one I needed, back in January during CQ WW CW 160M contest. I woke up in the middle of the night, and worked KH7Y. I could barely hear him, but I was 99% sure we got QSO completed. Unfortunately Fred has not uploaded his log to LoTW yet, so there was still 1% chance left, that he does not have me there.

The snowstorm again

Last Saturday we got snowstorm again: more than 16 inches (40 cm) of snow, and the winds around 25 mph (11 m/s). Now it’s pretty cold here, about 0 F (-18 C), even less during the nights.

New QSL design

I’ve decided to order new batch of QSL cards. It’s not like I need them right now, but it would be good to have more cards for the next year. Here I got a dilemma: should I simply reprint my latest (at that moment) design, or create a new one? After considering all pros and contras, I’ve decided in favor of new design.
