Oldies from Pskov

These QSL cards from 1980s belong to Pskov club stations and individual amateurs.

My first steps in the air are made in early 1980s on youth club station UK1WAG.

In 1980 UK1WAA used special sign U1PSK during celebration of 110th anniversary of Vladimir Lenin, the founder and first ruler of Soviet Russia.

In mid 1980s call sign designations for club stations were significantly changed, so UK1WAA became UZ1WWA.

Valery, UA1WBU (now RA1WX), was UK1WAA trustee in early 1980s.

UA1WCR

Anatoly, UA1WCR (now RA1WR), refused to give me his blank QSL card, saying “You want my card? Make the QSO first!” So I had to catch him in the air and make one from UK1WAG.
