QSL policy changed

After collecting paper cards for some time, I’ve finally decided that four shoe boxes is quite enough. From now on I am going to send paper QSL card first only if I really need the card in reply. Electronic confirmations should be enough in most cases. I will still reply to all paper cards received. I’ve also enabled buro QSL requests via Clublog (see here or external link here). How many of you have albums with QSL cards? I guess many. But I do not have one. All my cards are stored in a few shoe boxes. I could get an album, but I have reason to believe it will never leave the shelf. So I decided to create a virtual one, on the web, where anyone can see it. Of course it is based on DXCC list, probably the most popular album choice.

It was a pretty big job to scan all the cards. But now it is completed, and the album is here. Enjoy!

Trip to Pskov

We spent first two weeks of the April in Russia, visiting my parents in my hometown Pskov. This trip became very exciting for my daughter, who has met her grandparents living in Russia in person for the first time. She also observed the life in different country with a great interest. And yes, she speaks Russian freely without an accent (same about English), so there were no language barriers.
